A chlorinated rubber paint that combines good chemical and water resistance with a decorative effect. Ideal for use as the top coat in a chemical resistant chlorinated rubber paint system. Produces a sheen finish.

For use on surfaces likely to be exposed to weak/medium strength acids and alkalis. Also recommended for applications subject to a chemically laden atmosphere or in a coastal environment. Can be applied to both steel and concrete substrates.

Application Methods:   Brush or Roller

Colour Availability:   Full range of BS 4800, BS 381C & RAL shades except fluorescents and metallics

Pack Size:   5 litres

Drying Time @ 20ºC:   Drying times will be extended at low temperatures . Do not apply when ambient temperature falls below 5ºC or relative humidity exceeds 90%.

Surface dry @ 20ºC :   30 minutes

Hard Dry@ 20ºC:   1 ½ hour.

Dry Film Thickness:   20 - 30 μ,

Wet Film Thickness:   65 - 100 μ,

Coverage:   Approximately 11.5m² per 1 litre @ 25 μ DFT. Coverage can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.

Flash Point:  36ºC

VOC Content (as supplied):   Max 610g / litre

Storage:   Store in temperature range 5-40ºC

Thinners:   Firwood 143 Thinners

Directions for use:    

Ensure the surface to be painted is clean and free from grease, rust or millscale. Apply by brush or spray. Clean application equipment immediately after use with Firwood 143 Thinners
