Magnetic wall paint is a quick drying paint that allows the subsequent mounting of documents on walls by the use of magnets and magnetic strips. Suitable for use in the home and office on masonry , plaster and sheet materials such as mdf. For indoor use only.

  • For use on smooth surfaces only
  • Can be overcoated with emulsion paint
  • Suitable for holding papers and lightweight card
  • Use flat strong magnets such as neodynium magnets
Coverage: Approx 3 sq metres per litre when applied as two coats. Coverage can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.

Application Methods: Brush or Roller

Colour Availability: Mid Grey

Pack Size: 1 litre

Drying Time @ 20ºC: Drying times will be extended at low temperatures . Do not apply when ambient temperature falls below 10ºC or relative humidity exceeds 90%.

Touch Dry @ 20ºC : 1 hour

Overcoat @ 20ºC: After 4 hours

Coverage: Approx 3 sq metres per litre when applied as two coats. Coverage can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.

Composition: Resin with stabilised iron powder.

Storage: Store in temperature range 5-40ºC

Directions for Use: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease,etc.

Mix well before and during use as the product will settle out. Do not thin.

Mark out or mask off area to be coated. Plaster surfaces should be sealed prior to the application of Firwood Magnetic Wall Paint.

Apply a minimum of two good coats as the potential of the magnet to stick to the paint is dependent on the film thickness applied.

Once the coating has fully dried, check with a strong flat magnet to ensure that you have adequate coating applied.

Cleaning: Clean brushes immediately after use with soap and water. Rinse brush well in clean water before further use.
