A quick drying, single coat, semi-gloss, machinery white conforming to British Coal Specifications 520/1967 & 513/1967 Part 1, intended for the use on mining equipment underground machinery.

Due to the excellent application characteristics of this product, high builds may be achieved in one coat if desired.

Recommended Application Methods: Conventional Spray, Airless Spray and brush

Colour Availability: White

Drying Time @ 20ºC: Drying times will be extended at low temperatures. Do not apply when ambient temperature falls below 3 ºC or relative humidity exceeds 90%

Surface dry @ 20ºC : 15 mins

Hard Dry@ 20ºC: 1 hour

Dry Film Thickness: 20 - 60μ

Wet Film Thickness: 60 - 180 μ

Coverage: Approximately 17m² per litre at 25μ DFT (coverage rate can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.

Flash Point: 24ºC

VOC Content: Max 455g / litre

Storage: Store in temperature range 5-40ºC

Thinners: Firwood 113 Thinners



Directions for Use: All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from grease, rust, millscale, etc. Can be applied directly to ferrous metals. If specified apply a primer first ensuring this meets the required system specification. Stir well before use.

For galvanised or non-ferrous metals, we recommend the use of a suitable etch primer such as Firwood 90 Rapid Dry Chromate Free Etch Primer.

Clean application equipment immediately after use with Firwood 113 Thinners.
