A general purpose aluminium finish for interior or exterior exposure on many types of substrate. Suitable for application by brushing or spraying to clean bare steel or primed surfaces. Also suitable for use as a sealer on surfaces having a moderate coat of bituminous material applied, or as a substitute for shellac knotting.

Coverage: Approximately 15m² per 1 litre @ 25 μ DFT. Coverage can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.

Application Methods: Conventional pray, Airless spray, Brush

Drying Time @ 20ºC: Drying times will be extended at low temperatures . Do not apply when ambient temperature falls below 5ºC or relative humidity exceeds 90%.

Surface Dry @ 20ºC : 3 hours

Hard Dry@ 20ºC: 8 hours

Over Coat @ 20ºC: After 16 hours

Dry Film Thickness: 15 - 30 μ

Wet Film Thickness: 40 -80 μ

Coverage: Approximately 15m² per 1 litre @ 25 μ DFT. Coverage can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.

Flash Point: 38ºC

VOC Content (as supplied): Max 499g / litre

Storage: Store in temperature range 5-40ºC

Thinners: Firwood 114 Thinners



Directions for Use: All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from grease, rust, millscale, etc. For optimum performance of this product, it should be applied over carefully prepared surfaces.

The most effective method is by blast cleaning to Swedish Standard Sa2½ and recoated within 4 hours. If this is not practical, then the surface should be mechanically cleaned using wire brushes, scrapers, etc.

Stir well before use

Cleaning: Clean application equipment immediately after use with Firwood 114 Thinners
