Directions for Use: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, millscale, etc.

Stir well before use.

Thinning should be avoided. Apply an even coat. Sometimes, particularly on vertical surfaces, an initial mist coat is advantageous, followed by a normal coat.

For galvanised or non-ferrous metals, we recommend the use of a suitable etch primer such as Firwood 90 Rapid Dry Chromate Free Etch Primer.

Clean application equipment immediately after use with Firwood 113 Thinners

Silicone used in hammer finishes will affect the finish of other coatings so we recommend that application equipment and thinners used for cleaning are dedicated to the use of hammer finish paints only.
