A tough drying full gloss machinery enamel paint. A general purpose lead free industrial finishing paint with fast drying properties available in an extensive range of shades including BS 381C, BS 4800 and the German colour standard RAL.
Suitable for use as a decorative and protective finish in a full painting sequence on ferrous metals, timber and other surfaces. Ideal for both internal and external use and has achieved widespread acceptance as a good all round maintenance finish for brush application.
Suitable for use on metal containers, castings, agricultural and industrial implements, components and machinery, etc.
When thoroughly dry, possesses good splash resistance to petrol and oil but is not suitable for permanent immersion.
Also possesses moderate heat resistance and can be force dried.
Can be used as a single coat finish or incorporated into a full painting sequence.

Drying Time @ 20ºC: Drying times will be extended at low temperatures . Do not apply when ambient temperature falls below 5ºC or relative humidity exceeds 90%.
Surface dry @ 20ºC : 20 minutes
Hard Dry@ 20ºC: 4 hours Can be force dried @ 65ºC for 15 minutes
Dry Film Thickness: 15 - 30 μ,
Wet Film Thickness: 45 -90 μ,
Coverage: Approximately 14m² per 1 litre @ 25 μ DFT. Coverage can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.
Flash Point: 25ºC
VOC Content (as supplied): Max 525g / litre
Storage: Store in temperature range 5-40ºC
Thinners: Firwood 113 Thinners
Directions for Use: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, millscale, etc.
If required, apply primer such as Firwood 70 Anti-Corrosive Primer and/or undercoat in accordance with our recommendations.
For non-ferrous metals use a suitable etch primer such as Firwood 90 Chromate Free Etch Primer.
Clean application equipment immediately after use with Firwood 113 Thinners.
