A rapid drying paint with a tough finish, comparing favourably with conventional stoving finishes.

Mainly for use on metal surfaces but satisfactory results can be obtained on timber and other absorbent surfaces.

It can also be used as a heat resisting coating and will withstand temperatures up to 250ºC, with a short term maximum of 300ºC.

Coverage: Approximately 12.5m² per 1 litre @ 25 μ DFT. Coverage can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.

Application Methods: Conventional Spray, Airless Spray, Hot spray, Brush, Dipping.

Pack Size: 5 and 20 litres

Drying Time @ 20ºC: Drying times will be extended at low temperatures . Do not apply when ambient temperature falls below 5ºC or relative humidity exceeds 90%.

Surface dry @ 20ºC : 10 minutes

Hard Dry@ 20ºC: 30 minutes

Dry Film Thickness: 20 -30 μ

Wet Film Thickness: 65 - 100 μ

Flash Point: 25ºC

VOC Content (as supplied): Max 600g / litre

Storage: Store in temperature range 5-40ºC

Directions for Use: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, millscale, etc.

Stir well before use for optimum performance, corrosion resistance, adhesion, etc.

An anti-corrosive primer is recommended for ferrous metals. For galvanised or non-ferrous metals, we recommend the use of a suitable etch primer such as Firwood 90 Rapid Dry Chromate Free Etch Primer.

Cleaning: Clean application equipment immediately after use with Firwood 113 Thinner
