A two pack, cold cured, anti-corrosive epoxy primer finish containing laminar glass flake.Encapsulating the rust, application will seal out moisture preventing further damage to the substrate and offers future protection. This product exhibits excellent salt spray resistance for application to rusting metal and has a bright aluminium finish.
Tested for up to 3,000 hours hot salt spray resistance to ASTM B117 this silver two pack epoxy coating uses a blend of technologies to ensure optimum resistance from corrosion.
Withstands tough conditions including marine and chemical environments
Easy to apply
Coverage: Approximately 4.54m² per litre @ 125μ DFT.Coverage can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.
Pipes and storage tank exteriors
Ladders and fire escapes

Thinners: Firwood 67 thinners
Temperature Range: Continuous up to 85ºC - Intermittent 120ºC
Directions for Use: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, millscale, etc.
Surfaces should preferably be shot blasted to Swedish standard Sa2½ or ST3 for mechanically prepared substrates then coated within 4 hours for optimum performance.
The type 86 base and 86 curing agent should be well mixed together in the proportion of 3.91-of base to 1.09-of curing agent by volume.
Only sufficient material should be mixed to meet immediate requirements as the mixture has a limited pot life of 3 hours, depending on temperature and humidity.
For galvanised or non-ferrous metals, a suitable etch primer is recommended.
Can be applied as a single coat system at 220 μ wet film thickness (125 μ dry film thickness) or as a two coat system at 110 μ wet film thickness per coat, giving a total dry film thickness of 125 μ.
