A rapid drying, anti-corrosive primer which gives excellent protection to correctly prepared ferrous and non-ferrous surfaces. This primer has been formulated to meet the rigorous performance requirements of the automotive component and chassis markets.
Suitable for a wide range of general industrial uses where a superior finish and extended durability are required.
Can be used as a chassis and component primer for vehicles, agricultural and construction equipment both for new build and refinishing. As a measure of its quality, this product has been subjected to and passed the stringent test requirements of Leyland Vehicles Material Engineering Specification PP1.

Coverage: Approximately 15m² per litre @ 25 μ DFT. Coverage can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.

Application Methods: Conventional spray, Airless spray and Dipping. Brush small areas only.
Colour Availability: Red Oxide, Grey, Dark Sea Grey, Black, White & Buff
Pack Size: 5 and 20 litres dependent on colour
Drying Time @ 20ºC: Drying times will be extended at low temperatures . Do not apply when ambient temperature falls below 5ºC or relative humidity exceeds 90%.
Surface dry @ 20ºC : 20 minutes
Hard Dry@ 20ºC: 1 hour
Dry Film Thickness: 20 -30 μ
Wet Film Thickness: 50 -75 μ

Directions for Use:
All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from grease, rust, millscale, etc. For galvanised or non-ferrous metals, we recommend the use of
a suitable etch primer such as Firwood 90 Rapid Dry Chromate Free Etch Primer.
Stir well before use.
The paint should be applied immediately after completion of the cleaning stage to the required dry film thickness.
Clean application equipment immediately after use with Firwood 113 Thinners.
