Designed as an anti-corrosive primer for steel. To be used in conjunction with Firwood chlorinated rubber finishes. Mainly for use on areas subject to corrosive and chemical laden atmospheres. Good resistance to acids and alkalis.

Coverage: Approximately 5m² per 1 litre @ 75 μ DFT. Coverage can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.

Compliance: Complies with “the VOC in Paints, Varnishes & Vehicle Refinishing Products Regulations 2005". EU limit value for this product (cat A/i): 500g / litre (2010)

Application Methods: Conventional Spray, Airless Spray, Brush

Drying Time @ 20ºC: Drying times will be extended at low temperatures . Do not apply when ambient temperature falls below 5ºC or relative humidity exceeds 90%.

Surface Dry @ 20ºC : 15 minutes

Hard Dry@ 20ºC: 1 hour

Over Coat@ 20ºC: After 24 hours

Dry Film Thickness: 50 -750 μ

Wet Film Thickness: 125 - 225 μ

Flash Point: 34ºC

VOC Content (as supplied): Max 490g / litre

Storage: Store in temperature range 5-40ºC

Thinners: Firwood 113 Thinners



Directions for Use: Intended for application to steel, shot blasted to Sa2½ and primed within four hours. The surface should be completely covered to the recommended dry film thickness.

Stir well before use.

For galvanised steel or non-ferrous metals, an etch primer is recommended.

Cleaining: Clean application equipment immediately after use with Firwood 113 Thinners
