A high build chlorinated rubber, semi-gloss paint. Chemical and weather resistant with easy application properties. Ideally suited for exterior building cladding and roofs or as an intermediate coat in a chemical resistant chlorinated rubber paint system.

Combines resistance to chemicals with good durability, flexibility and adhesion. Suitable for use on steel, concrete and asbestos roofs & sheets. Not recommended for applications requiring total immersion in water. For such applications refer to Firwood 680 or Firwood 690.

Coverage: Approximately 6m² per litre @ 75 μ DFT. Coverage can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.

Compliance: Complies with "the VOC in Paints, Varnishes & Vehicle Refinishing Products Regulations 2005". EU limit value for this product (cat A/i): 500g / litre (2010)

Application Methods: Conventional spray (add up to 10% thinners), Airless spray (if required, add up to 5% thinners), Brush (use as supplied).

Colour Availability: Full range of BS 4800, BS 381C & RAL shades except fluorescents and metallics

Drying Time @ 20ºC: Drying times will be extended at low temperatures . Do not apply when ambient temperature falls below 5ºC or relative humidity exceeds 90%.

Surface Dry @ 20ºC : <1 hour

Hard Dry @ 20ºC: < 4 hours

Dry Film Thickness: 50 - 100 μ,

Wet Film Thickness: 110 - 225 μ,

Flash Point: 24ºC

VOC Content (as supplied): Max 499g / litre

Storage: Store in temperature range 5-40ºC

Directions for Use: Apply as supplied by brush or airless spray to correctly prepared surfaces.

If required, apply anti-corrosive primer such as Firwood 191 high build zinc phosphate primer in accordance with our recommendations.

Thinning should be avoided in order to retain the high build properties at the recommended minimum film thickness and reduce the emission of VOC's.

Allow 24 hours before recoating.

Application equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with Firwood 113 Thinners.

When working with asbestos then reference must be made to the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 to ensure a safe working practice is used and the legislation is complied with.
