Thinners: Firwood 114 Thinners

Mixing: Mix thoroughly before use with a wide bladed stirrer. A wooden batten at least 25mm wide is ideal.

Directions for Use: Best results are obtained in warm (minimum 15°C), dry conditions with a good through draught. Apply using a brush and/or long pile, double arm roller.

If the surface has been previously polished or waxed, remove all wax with white spirit.

For timber surfaces, sand down to a smooth finish and remove dust.

On unvarnished wood, including worn surfaces, apply 1 sealer coat (top coat thinned with 10-20% thinners) and 2 top coats. Two top coats should be adequate where all timber is completely sealed.

No need to rub down between coats if applied at 24 hour intervals.

When coating floors, heavy traffic should be avoided on newly painted surfaces for a period of 72 hours after painting.

Cleaning: Clean application equipment immediately after use with Firwood 114 Thinners

Product Reviews
Great gloss

Just used this on wood flooring. It looks great and dried quickly to a full gloss. I find a single pack product like this easy to use and I don't waste any material like you can with two pack paints. Shame it smells a little but then it is solvent based.
Don't forget...
