A colourless water borne two pack polyurethane lacquer. This two pack formulation will provide exceptional protection and durability on heavy traffic wooden floors or other surfaces. Available from stock in Gloss, Satin and Matt finishes.

This product is quick drying and has good abrasion resistance. It is applied as a two pack coating, cross linked with Firwood PU hardener included in the pack. This intermediate and top coat is best used over Firwood 2530 Wood Primer Sealer on new timber floors.

For Professional Use only. Available as an anti-slip coating with the addition of 2 x tins of Firwood 209 - Polymer beads per 5 Ltr composite pack.

Coverage: 10m² per litre on planed wood. Coverage can be affected by such variables as type and condition of substrate, type of application equipment and individual method of application.

Application Methods: Roller, Paint Brush or Squeegee with rubber blade.

Colour Availability:
Clear - Gloss, Satin & Matt finishes.

Pack Size: 5 litres

Drying Time @ 20ºC: Drying times will be extended at low temperatures . Do not apply when ambient temperature falls below 10ºC or relative humidity exceeds 80%.

Surface Dry @ 20ºC : 30 minutes

Dry for Sanding @ 20ºC: After approx 8 hours

Over Coat @ 20ºC: After 8 hours

Flash Point: Not Applicable

VOC Content (as supplied): Max 120g / litre when mixed

Storage: Store in temperature range 5-40ºC

Thinners: Use clean cold water

Pot Life @ 20ºC: 2-4 hours after mixing. The pot life will be significantly reduced where the mixed paint is used at higher ambient temperatures.

Mixing Ratio: Base: Curing Agent Approx. 9:1 by volume

Packaging: Pack Size : 5 litre composite units (base component - 4.5 ltrs + curing agent - 0.5 ltrs)

Mixing: To ensure consistency of gloss level, mix thoroughly for approx. 5 mins using a wide bladed stirrer. A wooden batten at least 25mm wide is ideal.

Directions for Use: All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust, grease, waxes, etc.

Untreated wood may be primed with Firwood 2530 water borne floor seal thinned 5:1 by volume with water. Subsequent coats should be applied without thinning.

Previously lacquered surfaces must be cleaned carefully of dirt and grease. Bare spots must be primed before lacquering the whole surface.

When coating floors, heavy traffic should be avoided on newly painted surfaces for a period of 72 hours after painting.

Where masking tape is used, it is recommended that it be removed immediately after application of the coating to prevent tearing of the coating film and produce a clean edge.

Cleaning: Use clean cold water. Wash application equipment immediately after use.

Just used this material on a busy restaurant floor. Selected the satin finish and it looks great and we have a happy client. Initial durability looks very promising.
