Directions for Use:
Prepare the area to be filled before mixing the mortar.

Ensure the surface to be coated is clean, dry and free from grease water and oils.

If the concrete is crumbling then be careful to remove all loose pieces. Best results are achieved by chipping out any crumbling concrete and forming a suitable edge to work to. Sweep out any loose material.

Apply in dry conditions where precipitation is not expected during the application and drying time of the mortar.

The mortar can be used to create a feather edge but it is always best to cut away the edge to strengthen the joint between old and new surfaces.

Remove all components and instructions from the plastic outer bucket.

Take a tin of the base epoxy marked A and pour this into the outer plastic pack. Pour a tin of curing agent marked B slowly into the base and mix well. This is best done with an electric drill and suitable mixer blade.

Immediately start adding a bag of sand to mix the mortar. Add slowly to ensure all the sand gets wetted out by the epoxy resin mixture. Continue mixing until a homogenous mix has been made. All the sand must be wetted out and appear grey.

For the 10 kg pack it is best to split into two units of 5kgs being 1 bag sand, 1 tin part A base and 1 tin part B curing agent per mix. A more powerful mixer will be required if mixing the full 10 kg pack in one mix.

Use mixed product within the hour.

Apply to the hole or crack using a steel trowel or float. Compact down particularly at the edges to ensure a good joint between old and new surfaces.

Apply by use of the solvent spray (Supplied in the pack) a small amount of solvent to the trowel. This prevents drag on the trowel to help smooth out the mortar.

Protect the applied product from foot and vehicle traffic until fully cured. Cover if rain is expected in the drying period. When making up multiple mixes empty the mixing bucket before starting a further mix.

Cleaning: Application equipment should be cleaned using Firwood 114 thinners immediately after use.

Product Reviews
It fixed our floor
By James Fletcher from Penrith on October 2nd 2015
review
Just repaired our concrete barn floor where large holes had developed after years of abuse. I was sceptical about these types of products but it has worked a treat. Now been down for over 3 months and apart from a colour difference to the original concrete floor you wouldn't know it was there. Well packaged product and I liked the little spray of solvent to keep the trowel clean and leave a smooth finish.
