An anti-slip floor paint based on an epoxy formulation that dries to a tough durable sheen finish. It has good resistance to water, oils, mild acids and alkalis. The anti-slip properties are produced by the use of organic powder which provides a hard wearing surface whilst is gentle underfoot. Helps provide enhanced safety to potentially slippery areas.

Surface Preparation: Refer to Technical Data Sheet on the downloads section for this product. We recommend the use of Firwood 2709 Concrete Etching Fluid when coating concrete floors to remove surface laitance and improve adhesion of the floor paint.
Mixing: Stir well before use. Mix thoroughly for approximately 5 minutes using a wide bladed stirrer.
Directions for Use:
Best results are obtained in warm (minimum 15°C), dry conditions with a good through draught.
Mix during use to prevent settling of anti-slip additive.
Apply using a brush and/or long pile, double arm roller.
On bare concrete floors: It is recommended that the first coat be diluted with approx. 10-20% Firwood 143 thinners by volume prior to application. This will act as a binding primer and help seal the concrete surface. Once dried, a second coat can be applied at full strength. Do not flood pour paint onto substrate.
On previously painted floors: Prior to extensive application of this product always check a test patch for compatibility and adhesion. It is recommended that two thin coats be applied rather than one thick coat. This will prolong the life and performance of the coating.
Cleaning: Application equipment should be cleaned immediately after use with Firwood 143 low odour thinners.
